Celestron Astro Fi 127 MAK Telescope (22206)

The telescopes in the Astro Fi series are fully functional instruments that can be controlled using a smartphone or tablet through the free Celestron SkyPortal app. This app replaces traditional hand controllers, enabling complete wireless operation. Once a target is selected, the mount automatically positions the telescope on the chosen object. The Astro Fi 5" Maksutov-Cassegrain creates its own Wi-Fi connection, so no external Wi-Fi network is required.

The automated mount makes Astro Fi telescopes ideal for group observing sessions and sky demonstrations. The tracked object stays in the field of view, and locating new targets is fast and convenient.

The Astro Fi 5" Maksutov-Cassegrain is a 127 mm aperture, 1500 mm focal length telescope. It is lightweight, easy to operate, and collects 329 times more light than the human eye. With its f/12 focal ratio, it is designed primarily for Solar System observing, while also performing well on bright deep-sky objects such as star clusters, nebular structures, and prominent galaxies. Preparing the telescope for use takes only a few minutes, including downloading the SkyPortal app. The adjustable tripod allows you to set the telescope at a comfortable height. The included smartphone adapter enables beginners to try basic astrophotography.

The set includes a 1.25" erect-image diagonal, a Red Dot StarPointer finder, and 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces.
