The Canon ME200S-SH Multi-Purpose Camera is a compact, versatile HD camera body featuring a locking EF mount and support for professional workflows. It records up to 1920 x 1080p at 60 (59.94p), and supports both NTSC and PAL broadcast frame rates. Inside, a Super 35mm sensor delivers approximately 12 stops of dynamic range and supports ISO settings up to 204,800, making it suitable for both low-light and high-contrast environments. The camera supports EOS Standard, Wide DR, and Canon Log gamma profiles and allows you to store up to six custom picture settings to protect highlight and shadow detail.

The compact “box-style” body is designed to fit into tight or hard-to-reach spaces and can be configured with optional accessories for a wide range of applications. A built-in digital teleconverter offers 2x, 4x, or 8x zoom effects without swapping lenses. For connectivity, the ME200S-SH includes two HD/3G-SDI outputs, one HDMI output, and a genlock input for easy integration into multi-camera setups. Control options include a 2.5 mm stereo mini jack and an RS-422 port. Power can be supplied by 12 VDC through either a 2-pin Phoenix connector or the built-in 4-pin XLR connector.

• A locking cinema EF mount provides a more secure connection than a standard EF mount and is compatible with EF lenses. A 12-pin lens terminal on the front supports communication with EF-mount CINE-SERVO lenses or 2/3" broadcast lenses when used with an appropriate third-party adapter.

• Additional calibration and utility functions include auto black balance, color bars, test tone, assignable buttons, peripheral illumination correction, focus limit, crop mode for EF-S lenses, scan reverse, flicker reduction, noise reduction, time display, and hour meter.

• Custom picture settings are available to preserve detail in highlights and shadows, with selectable gamma curves such as EOS Standard, Wide DR, and Canon Log. Up to six custom scene files can be stored and recalled for different shooting environments.
