The Canon EOS-1D X Mark III is engineered for exceptional speed, accuracy, and reliability. 20.1MP Full-Frame Sensor and DIGIC X Processor
The redesigned full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processor deliver high image quality, speed, and a wide sensitivity range. A new low-pass filter minimizes moiré and aliasing. Together, the sensor and processor enable continuous shooting up to 20 fps in live view or 16 fps with the viewfinder, along with raw+JPEG bursts of up to 1000 frames. The broad ISO range supports diverse lighting environments.

EOS iTR AF X and Dual Pixel CMOS AF
The updated autofocus system uses 191 points, including 155 cross-type points, for precise performance in various conditions. Deep Learning Technology enhances tracking capabilities such as Face and Head Detection.
In live view and video recording, Dual Pixel CMOS AF offers smooth, fast focusing with 3869 manually selectable points and 525 automatic zones. It behaves similarly to a camcorder, ensuring natural transitions and minimal focus hunting. For video, Movie Servo AF provides controllable focus speed, tracking sensitivity, and Face Tracking priority. Touch AF allows users to shift focus simply by tapping the touchscreen.

DCI 4K and 5.5K Raw Video
The camera records DCI 4K internally at up to 60 fps with 10-bit 4:2:2 color and also supports raw 5.5K recording. Full-frame or cropped recording modes are available, and Canon Log Gamma enables flexible color grading. Full HD can be recorded at up to 120 fps. Autofocus is available during raw 5.5K at 30 fps or cropped 4K at 60 fps; full-frame 4K supports autofocus up to 30 fps. Movie Digital IS, focus peaking, and a focus guide further enhance video stability and sharpness.

Body Design
The enhanced optical pentaprism viewfinder and improved mirror drive reduce blackout during fast shooting. A 3.2-inch 2.1-million-dot touchscreen offers easy playback and menu control. Dual CFexpress Type B slots handle high data rates. The rear Smart Controller enables quick AF point selection. The LP-E19 battery provides improved runtime.
