Description

The FUJIFILM X-T30 III is a compact, retro-styled mirrorless camera that brings advanced photo and video tools into a small, portable body. Its centrally placed electronic viewfinder and multiple physical dials deliver a classic SLR-style shooting feel, while a simple one-touch fully automatic mode is available whenever you want the camera to handle the technical side. This combination lets creators stay focused on their subject without compromising image quality. FUJIFILM’s film simulations, user-made “recipes,” and the wide X-mount lens system offer huge creative flexibility.

26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with X-Processor 5

Compared to earlier versions, the X-T30 III upgrades the existing APS-C 26.1MP X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor with the newer X-Processor 5 image engine. This pairing significantly boosts overall speed, autofocus performance, and video capability.

Maximum video resolution increases from DCI 4K to 6.2K in a 3:2 aspect ratio, using the full 6240 x 4160 sensor area. Portrait Enhancer features and advanced digital stabilization help keep your footage polished and professional. The X-Processor 5 also powers a more intelligent autofocus system, using deep-learning AI to automatically detect and track a wide range of moving subjects such as people, pets, and vehicles.

High-quality stills

Compact, powerful, and easy to carry, the X-T30 III is ideal as an everyday camera for recording life’s moments. You can fine-tune and save your own image looks, and the camera supports multiple file formats to balance beautiful in-camera results with flexibility for editing later.

  • Still image formats: Raw (RAF) 14-bit, HEIF 4:2:2 10-bit, TIFF 8-bit, and JPEG

  • Maximum image resolutions:

    • 6240 x 4160 (3:2)

    • 6240 x 3512 (16:9)

    • 4160 x 4160 (1:1)

  • Fast shutter speeds: up to 1/4000 second (mechanical) and 1/32,000 second (electronic)

  • Continuous shooting of uncompressed Raw at up to 30 fps with a 1.25x crop

  • Built-in pop-up flash with guide number 16.4 ft at ISO 100

  • Long exposure capability up to 1 hour in bulb mode

Flexible video recording

As a strong hybrid tool, the X-T30 III records crisp video in 6.2K, UHD 4K, DCI 4K, and Full HD, in multiple frame rates and bit rates. Thanks to its advanced AI-driven continuous autofocus, the camera offers dependable video performance in a compact, SLR-style body.

  • 6240 x 4160 (3:2) up to 29.97 fps

  • 4096 x 2160 (17:9) and 3840 x 2160 (16:9) up to 59.94 fps

  • 2048 x 1080 (17:9) and 1920 x 1080 (16:9) up to 240 fps

  • Recording formats: H.265 and H.264 using Long GOP compression

  • Bitrates up to 200 Mb/s at all resolutions for detailed, richly colored footage

Classic styling with modern control

The X-T30 III is designed to echo the look of vintage SLR cameras, but in a smaller, lighter body. It blends a traditional shooting feel with modern functions. Physical dials give direct control over shutter speed, exposure compensation, and film simulations, so you can change your look or exposure quickly without diving into menus. This layout allows you to keep your eye on the 2.36m-dot OLED viewfinder and stay immersed in shooting rather than constantly adjusting settings onscreen.

When you need more detailed control, the 3.0" 1.62m-dot tilting touchscreen LCD provides easy access to the menu system. Touch operation makes navigation straightforward and gives experienced users full command over still and video settings. Compact yet refined, the X-T30 III measures about 4.7 x 3.3 x 1.8" and weighs only about 11.6 oz, making it a natural fit for everyday carry.

Smart automation for faster shooting

The camera includes a broad set of automation features that simplify image capture for beginners, and help more advanced users react quickly in fast-paced situations. A single switch on the top plate, just to the right of the viewfinder, activates Intelligent Auto Mode. This mode uses AI to handle subject detection, autofocus, and auto exposure for you.

  • 425-point intelligent hybrid autofocus with phase detection and low-light sensitivity down to -7 EV

  • AI-based subject recognition for eyes, faces, people, animals, and vehicles

  • Continuous AF that keeps focus locked even during rapid movement or brief obstructions

  • Auto exposure using spot, multi, average, and center-weighted TTL 256-zone metering

  • Auto white balance with both white-priority and ambience-priority options

Film Simulation and custom looks

The X-T30 III combines FUJIFILM’s well-known Film Simulation modes with a physical dial, giving you a quick and tactile way to choose your image style while shooting. Located to the left of the viewfinder, the dial offers six preset Film Simulation positions plus three user-assignable slots where you can store custom “recipes.”

You can create and edit these recipes in the Film Simulation Dial section of the Image Quality menu, adjusting Grain Effect, color balance, highlight and shadow tones, and more.

The camera includes 20 Film Simulation presets, including:
PROVIA/Standard, Velvia/Vivid, ASTIA/Soft, Classic Chrome, REALA ACE, PRO Neg. Hi, PRO Neg. Std, Classic Neg., Nostalgic Neg., ETERNA/Cinema, ETERNA Bleach Bypass, ACROS, ACROS + Ye Filter, ACROS + R Filter, ACROS + G Filter, Black & White, Black & White + Ye Filter, Black & White + R Filter, Black & White + G Filter, and Sepia.
