The LUMIX S1II is designed for professional photographers and videographers, offering LUMIX color science, wide dynamic range, and fast 24MP performance. It allows creators to capture photos and videos precisely as envisioned. Its newly developed 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS sensor, combined with the next-generation Venus Engine, provides faster readout speeds, improved processing, and support for high-frame-rate recording up to 4K120p and 5.1K60p.

With Dynamic Range Boost mode, the camera achieves up to 15 stops of dynamic range in V-Log when shooting at frame rates below 30p. Photography performance includes continuous shooting at up to 70 frames per second, with SH and SH pre-burst options capturing up to 1.5 seconds of action before the shutter is pressed, ensuring fleeting moments are not missed.

The LUMIX S1II enhances workflow efficiency and versatility in content production. The widely praised Open Gate feature now supports formats higher than 6K30p, extending to 5.1K60p and opening new creative options. A future firmware update will add multiple frame marker displays for further flexibility.

Image Quality
The camera includes a newly developed 24.1MP full-frame partially stacked CMOS sensor, a 96MP high-resolution mode, LUMIX color science, 70 fps AFC/AFS blackout-free shooting, HEIF recording, and the latest L² Technology image processing engine.

Video Performance
This model is the first LUMIX camera to offer Open Gate 5.1K60p high-speed recording, alongside additional formats such as 4K120p and 5.8K60p. It is also the first LUMIX camera to achieve 15 stops of dynamic range in V-Log at frame rates below 30p. ARRI LogC3 is available through the DMW-SFU3A upgrade key.

Autofocus Precision
Phase Hybrid AF with AI technology, advanced image stabilization, burst shooting capabilities, REAL TIME LUT support, and a new AF mode optimized for urban sports allow accurate tracking of fast movements in activities such as breakdancing, skateboarding, and parkour.

Shooting Efficiency
Workflow tools include the LUMIX Lab/Flow apps, Capture One compatibility, Frame.io support, and the ability to load settings between different camera models.

Ease of Use
Features include a Photo/Video/S&Q mode switch, a tilting and free-angle rear monitor, an improved viewfinder, and Hybrid/Crop Zoom functionality.

24–60mm Lens

The LUMIX S-E2460E is a premium standard zoom lens with a constant F2.8 aperture across its entire zoom range. Its compact and lightweight build increases mobility, making it ideal for landscapes and architecture at 24mm, as well as portraiture with smooth bokeh at 60mm. Using Hybrid Zoom, the range can be extended up to 187mm for both photos and videos. The F2.8 aperture delivers high-resolution results and pleasing bokeh in all lighting conditions, enabling fast shutter speeds and reducing subject blur in low light.
