Designed for professional content creators who need strong still-photo performance, advanced video tools, and livestreaming capabilities, the Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX offers a range of updated features to elevate your production. It incorporates a newly developed sensor and an upgraded L2 processing engine, making it the first Lumix camera to include Phase Hybrid AF for noticeably faster and more precise autofocus. With its 24.2MP sensor and enhanced processor, the S5 IIX can record 6K video for up to 30 minutes and unlimited 4K video. The new Active I.S. system further improves stabilization during handheld and walking shots.

This model also comes pre-loaded with several high-end video functions, including HDMI RAW video output, USB-SSD recording, ALL-Intra recording, and ProRes recording. Livestreaming features such as Wireless IP streaming, smartphone USB tethering, and wired IP streaming are built in. The camera is also the first in the Lumix lineup to feature a refined, fully matte black, low-profile design.

Sensor and Processing Enhancements
The upgraded full-frame 24.2MP CMOS sensor and L2-enhanced processing engine introduce a Phase Hybrid AF system with 779 phase-detection points, delivering major improvements in subject tracking accuracy. The sensor supports a native ISO range of 100–51,200, expandable to 50–204,800, allowing versatile use in various lighting environments. For fast action, the S5 IIX offers full-resolution continuous shooting at up to 9 fps with the mechanical shutter and up to 30 fps using the electronic shutter.

Sensor-shift image stabilization is built in, and a High Resolution mode combines eight exposures into a single 96MP raw or JPEG image for tripod shooting, producing detailed files up to 12,000 x 8,000 pixels.

6K and 4K Video Performance
The S5 IIX supports full-frame 6K30p 4:2:0 10-bit recording for up to 30 minutes and unlimited 4K60p 4:2:2 10-bit capture. Videographers can also work in 120p for high-detail slow-motion footage. RAW HDMI output is supported with an optional activation license. V-Log comes pre-installed and captures a flat image profile with more than 14 stops of dynamic range for flexible color grading and seamless integration with Panasonic VariCam workflows.

Dual Native ISO technology enhances low-light performance by balancing noise reduction and sensitivity. Each pixel includes two separate circuits:

• Low ISO circuit: ISO 100 for standard use, ISO 640 with V-Log, ISO 400 with HLG, ISO 200 with Cinelike D2/V2
