The Pro Kit includes the full Hydra Alien Car Mounting System, along with the Remote Control Kit and the Hydra Alien Monitor Bracket.

The Hydra Alien Pro Kit provides a complete, flexible solution for vehicle-mounted cinematography and adds advanced control tools to improve precision and ease of operation.

The included Remote Control Kit enables full wired or wireless control of the DJI RS2 or RS3 Pro. The Hydra Alien Monitor Bracket makes it easier to view your footage while operating the Ronin during car-mounted shots.

The Hydra Alien system is purpose-built for lightweight gimbal setups and uses a modular combination of dovetail-style plates and suction cups that can each support up to 50 kg. Highly elastic, shock-absorbing silicone provides durability and reduces wear, while updated suction plungers create a stronger seal—especially useful in cold conditions.

By interconnecting its modular components, the system allows users to precisely position the camera at nearly any angle when mounting to a vehicle. A shock-absorbing arm provides additional stabilization, and a spring-loaded cradle head is included for inverted gimbal operation when needed. The newly added Hydraulic Damping Pole further stabilizes the arm, delivering smoother footage on rough terrain or during uneven driving.

With the Remote Control Kit, the Hydra Alien system supports full wireless control of the RS2 and RS3 Pro. Operators can adjust gimbal settings, trigger camera record/photo functions, and use the integrated thumbstick for precise pan and tilt control.

A redesigned Hard Shell Safety Case is included to securely store and transport the entire system. The case is waterproof and protects the equipment from weather and environmental hazards. It replaces the standard case included with the Hydra Alien but can also be used to store other gear if needed.

Whether mounted high, low, to the side, or on top of a vehicle, the Hydra Alien Car Mounting System gives you tremendous creative freedom for dynamic car-mounted cinematography.

Important Notes
• Compatible with any gimbal that mounts via 1/4"-20 screws and powers via P-Tap.
• Remote Control Handle supports only the RS2 and RS3 Pro.
• The “M” key on RS3/RS3 Pro can only change modes—it cannot mimic all functions of the gimbal.
• Not recommended for use on wrapped vehicles due to suction performance issues in direct sunlight and heat.
