The illuminator features a convex lens and variable focal length, enabling smooth adjustment of the beam width. By extending or retracting the head, the user can focus the beam tightly for long-range illumination or widen it for close-range use up to approximately 100 meters. Light output can be precisely adjusted from 2% to 100% using the rear rotary switch. An LED battery indicator provides a quick visual reference of the remaining charge of the 18650 battery (battery not included).
