The new binoculars in the Lux-HR series stand out for their exceptionally compact size, made possible by the innovative microbridge design. These binoculars are smaller than some smartphones and fit comfortably into almost any jacket pocket. In addition, the Lux-HR significantly undercuts the typical weight of binoculars in the 42 mm class. Thanks to their ultra-light yet durable construction—with a housing made of resilient magnesium and a focusing wheel crafted from high-quality aluminium—the binoculars remain extremely lightweight without sacrificing stability.

Secure, durable, and comfortable handling
A special soft-touch rubber armoring with a slightly roughened surface ensures excellent grip and slip resistance, even in humid conditions. An ergonomically shaped recess on the bridge provides a natural and comfortable finger rest. The slim, compact form makes the binoculars easy to handle and allows relaxed, effortless observation. The adjustable eyecups are made from a high-strength metal alloy, while their rubber coating protects the eyepieces from damage during demanding outdoor use. The binoculars are fully waterproof and reliably protected against internal condensation.

A standout feature: field-flattener eyepieces
These binoculars are equipped with field-flattener lenses, a rare feature in this price range. Field-flatteners compensate for image curvature and produce an almost perfectly flat image. Lines and shapes that would normally appear curved are rendered straight, ensuring sharp detail and fine structure right to the edges of the field of view.

The field-flattener lenses are treated with DDlucid coating, an advanced evolution of classic extra-low reflection coatings. This is one of the most effective binocular coatings currently available. The Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms are phase-coated and combined with dielectric mirrors, delivering excellent color saturation, strong contrast, and high brightness. The ED apochromatic glass minimizes color fringing in backlit situations and ensures clean, crisp contours.
