iOptron Mount HAE18C Dual AZ/EQ (85228)

With the HAE18C, iOptron delivers a compact and highly portable dual-mode mount that can be used in either azimuth or equatorial (parallactic) configuration. It supports payloads of up to 8.5 kg without a counterweight and up to 12 kg with a counterweight. The counterweight and tripod are optional accessories and are not included as standard.

iOptron’s proven Go2Nova® technology provides access to a database of 212,000 celestial objects and supports ASCOM compatibility. Thanks to integrated Wi-Fi, the mount can be controlled wirelessly via a smartphone or tablet using the iOptron Commander Lite app.

A Vixen-style saddle and rigid construction allow the use of a wide range of small to medium-sized telescopes. The mount features an integrated Electronic Friction Brake, which immediately stops movement if power is interrupted. When powered back on, the system automatically recalibrates and determines its position.

A power pack is included, along with a robust yet lightweight transport case. Tripods and mounts are available separately. The recommended option is the iOptron CF Tripod 40 mm. The Go2Nova 8411 hand controller is also available as an optional accessory.
