Levenhuk New Skyline PLUS 6" (150/1200) Dobsonian Telescope (86283)
The Levenhuk New Skyline PLUS 6" is a powerful Newtonian reflector designed for deep-sky observation in low-light countryside conditions. With a 152 mm aperture and 1200 mm focal length, it reveals detailed views of the Solar System and distant space objects. Lunar mountains and craters as small as 3 km across become visible, along with Saturn’s cloud belts, structure within Jupiter’s bands, asteroids, comets, numerous nebulae, and even hints of spiral patterns in the brightest galaxies.

Description
The optical tube is mounted on a Dobsonian base, providing comfortable observation and smooth manual pointing. This intuitive design makes tracking celestial objects straightforward, even for beginners.
High-Quality Optics with Parabolic Primary Mirror
A key strength of this telescope lies in its refined internal optical system, which ensures image clarity and stability. The optics are made of BK-7 glass, and the primary mirror features a parabolic shape. This design focuses scattered light rays into a single point, eliminates spherical aberration, and maintains sharpness at various magnifications.
The aluminum-coated mirrors reflect up to 85% of incoming light, delivering bright and detailed views suitable for most amateur astronomical observations.
Stable and Easy-to-Use Dobsonian Mount
The Dobsonian mount is built for simplicity and reliability. It assembles quickly, requires no complex adjustments, and operates entirely manually. Precision mechanics allow smooth and responsive tracking while maintaining excellent stability.
The telescope includes a 2" rack-and-pinion focuser with a 1.25" adapter, offering flexibility for a wide range of eyepieces and optical accessories.
Complete Accessory Set for Immediate Observation
The telescope comes with essential accessories to begin observing right away. Included are 10 mm and 25 mm Plössl eyepieces (1.25") and a red dot finder for easy target acquisition.
The Dobsonian mount is constructed from strong, high-quality treated wood, ensuring long-term durability even with frequent use. The telescope operates reliably in temperatures ranging from −5°C to +35°C.
