Description

4-in-1 Vision Modes – One Optic for Every Situation

With the Binox 6 Dual binoculars, you no longer need to switch gear or carry multiple devices. Four integrated modes — Day, Night, Thermal, and Twilight — provide outstanding versatility.

In Day Mode, you get a full-color 4K image that supports detailed long-range observation. After dark, switch to Night Mode and activate the IR illuminator for discreet viewing in complete darkness. Thermal Mode detects heat signatures, even through brush, fog, or with no visible light at all. Twilight Mode bridges the gap at dawn and dusk, maintaining contrast and image clarity in low but still present ambient light.

No matter the conditions, the system adapts instantly so you are always prepared.

Two Sensors – One Optic, All Conditions

BINOX-6 combines ATN’s 6th-generation thermal sensor with a premium 4K Ultra HD CMOS sensor, giving you exceptional flexibility. Enjoy true-to-life, full-color imaging during the day and highly sensitive thermal detection at night — all in one device designed to perform in any environment.

Ultra-Sensitive Thermal Imaging – Detect Farther, See Clearer, Respond Faster

  • Thermal sensor resolution: 256×192

  • Detector type: 12 μm VOx uncooled focal plane array (FPA)

  • Thermal sensitivity: ≤20 mK NETD

  • Detection range: up to 1500 m

At the core of the Binox 6 Dual is ATN’s most advanced thermal system so far: a 6th-generation engine based on a highly sensitive 12 μm VOx uncooled FPA. Available sensor variants include 256×192 (≤20 mK), 384×288, and 640×512 (≤15 mK). Each configuration delivers sharp thermal imagery, a smooth 50 Hz refresh rate, and performance tuned for different operational needs. These high- and ultra-sensitive sensors ensure reliable detection in any conditions.

Ultra HD CMOS Sensor – Day and Night Clarity

  • Sensor resolution: 3840×2160 (4K)

  • Sensor type: CMOS

  • Sensor size: 1.8″

  • Detection range: up to 400 m

Binox 6 Dual features a large 1.8″ CMOS sensor delivering Ultra HD 4K (3840×2160) resolution. Daytime images are rich in detail, sharp, and full of natural color — comparable to top-tier optics and digital cameras. After dark, Night Mode activates the built-in IR illuminator, providing clear visibility up to 350 m in total darkness. From bright daylight to complete night, Binox 6 Dual delivers dependable image quality in every scenario.

Intelligent Precision Suite – Tools Built for Real-World Use

SharpIR® – AI Image Enhancement

Using proprietary SharpIR® technology, Binox 6 Dual applies advanced AI algorithms to improve sharpness and readability in real time. Dynamic processing boosts edge definition and target contrast, making heat signatures easier to identify in complex terrain or reduced visibility.

Imagine detecting a coyote moving through brush at dusk or spotting wild boar hidden in tall grass — SharpIR® turns vague heat blobs into recognizable shapes and motion. You do not just see heat; you see a clear image that supports faster, more effective decisions.

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) – Clearer Images in Every Scene

WDR helps reveal more detail in both hot and cooler parts of a thermal image. In many thermal systems, very hot objects can dominate the view and “burn out” detail in cooler areas. WDR balances the scene so important information is not lost.

Animals behind cover, people in shadow, and cooler sections of terrain or equipment remain clearly visible. Whether you are tracking movement, scanning the landscape, or checking gear, WDR delivers a complete and readable image.

DeFOG Mode – Maintain Clarity in Difficult Conditions

When fog, haze, or thermal bloom reduces visibility, DeFOG automatically improves contrast and sharpness. It is ideal for early mornings, coastal areas, or humid valleys where weather conditions change quickly.

This mode keeps thermal imagery clear and usable exactly when you need it most.

Smart IR Illumination – Light Exactly When You Need It

The built-in IR illuminator includes Smart IR technology that automatically adjusts brightness to match the environment. This reduces unnecessary power use, limits overexposure, and helps maintain discretion.

Whether scanning open fields, moving through dense forest, or operating indoors, Smart IR delivers optimal illumination without manual adjustments.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder – Know the Distance, Stay in Control

Binox 6 Dual includes an integrated laser rangefinder that measures distances up to 1,000 yards (about 914 m) with ±1 m accuracy. Instant range readings support ethical, precise shooting for hunters, provide accurate data for search-and-rescue teams, and help law enforcement set safe distances and secure areas.

Sailors and industrial users can also benefit by accurately judging approach distances and planning safe routes.

A rangefinder built directly into the binoculars means no extra devices, no added weight, and no hesitation at the critical moment.

Hot Point Tracking – No Heat Source Goes Unnoticed

When speed and readability matter, Hot Point Tracking automatically highlights the hottest object in the field of view. This makes it easier to spot game moving through brush, locate people during search operations, or identify overheating equipment in demanding conditions.

Whether you are a hunter, SAR team member, uniformed professional, or industrial user, this feature ensures the target stands out clearly even in complex, chaotic scenes.

Thermal Color Palettes for Any Conditions – Faster Detection, Smarter Scanning

Binox 6 Dual offers six thermal color palettes tuned to the environment and mission:

  • White Hot / Black Hot – clean, high-contrast view for general detection and tracking

  • Iron Red – intensifies heat signatures for faster identification on complex backgrounds

  • Alarm – highlights the hottest points for immediate recognition of critical heat sources

  • Green Hot / Sepia – reduces eye fatigue during prolonged use, ideal for extended observation

No matter the task, the right palette provides instant clarity and an operational advantage.

Innovative Design That Delivers – Next-Generation Performance
