The Steiner SkyHawk 4.0 8x32 binoculars feature 8x fixed magnification and 32 mm objective lenses, delivering reliable performance in a wide range of lighting conditions. The airtight, nitrogen-filled construction protects against water, moisture and dust, offering water resistance up to 3 meters. The binoculars operate effectively in temperatures from -20°C to +70°C.

A roof prism system provides a wide field of view, while multi-layer anti-reflective coatings reduce unwanted reflections from the lens surfaces. Steiner High-Contrast Optik ensures sharp, high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction and consistent image quality across the entire field of view, starting from a minimum focus distance of 2 meters.

The housing is made of durable Makrolon polycarbonate. A non-slip NBR Longlife rubber armoring resists oils, fuels, acids, grease and harsh weather conditions, while also cushioning minor impacts and accidental drops. Contoured finger recesses enhance grip stability, even when wearing gloves. Ergonomic twist-up eyecups made of soft silicone provide comfort and effective protection against sunlight and wind.

The enlarged Fast Close Focus wheel, positioned centrally, allows quick and precise focusing. The Distance Control System enables pre-setting the focus according to the viewing distance. Diopter adjustment is available within a ±4 range. Adjustable interpupillary distance from 56 to 74 mm ensures a comfortable fit for different users.
