The TeleVue Delos 6 mm eyepiece is part of a premium mid-to-short focal length series designed to deliver reference-level optical performance for demanding observers. With a 72° apparent field of view and a generous 20 mm eye relief, it combines immersive viewing with exceptional comfort. Every optical, mechanical, and ergonomic detail has been refined to ensure outstanding sharpness, contrast, and usability across a wide range of visual applications. It is particularly well suited for high-magnification observations of the Moon, planets, and compact deep-sky objects.

The Delos concept was developed as a slightly narrower-field alternative to the Ethos series. By limiting the apparent field to 72°, the designers were able to increase eye relief and carefully control pupil aberrations without making the eyepiece excessively large. The result is full-field sharpness, highly accurate distortion correction, and excellent color neutrality. Carefully matched glass elements, advanced multi-coatings, and optimized anti-reflection surfaces maximize image fidelity and brightness.

Contrast is further enhanced by a continuously adjustable and lockable eyeguard system. The large eye lens, measuring approximately 35 mm in diameter, helps reduce stray light and prevents unwanted reflections from entering the observer’s eye. The sliding rubber eyeguard can be positioned at the ideal height for individual comfort, with indicator marks on the housing to easily return to a preferred setting. The eyeguard can also rotate to accommodate Dioptrx users.
