The TeleVue Large Field Corrector is designed to deliver perfectly flat image fields for astrophotography with TeleVue NP apochromatic refractors. It is specifically optimized for the NP101, NP101is, and NP127is models. While these telescopes already provide excellent field correction for APS-sized sensors, larger sensor formats such as full-frame require additional correction to maintain sharpness across the entire image.
This field corrector ensures precise image field flattening when using large-format camera sensors. The result is sharp, evenly illuminated stars from the center to the edges of the frame, making it ideal for high-resolution astrophotography.
