The TeleVue TRF-2008 0.8x Reducer/Flattener is designed to reduce the focal length and simultaneously flatten the image field of compatible refractor telescopes. By shortening the focal length, it widens the field of view and allows for shorter exposure times, making it easier to capture extended nebulae, large galaxies, and wide deep-sky regions. With this reducer, expansive objects such as the Andromeda Galaxy can fit comfortably within the image frame.

This high-quality TeleVue accessory features a fully multi-coated three-element correction optic for optimal image sharpness and contrast. It inserts directly into a 2" focuser and provides a T-2 (M42 x 0.75) thread on the camera side, allowing straightforward connection to DSLR and other compatible cameras.
