Rich-Field Observing Experience
A “rich-field” telescope allows you to see a vast portion of the sky at once. While long focal length telescopes act like telephoto lenses with strong magnification, the N 114/500 functions more like a wide-angle lens. You can explore the dense star clouds of the Milky Way and admire open star clusters such as the Pleiades in their full splendor. Higher magnification is easily achieved by using a shorter focal length eyepiece when needed.
Precision Optics with a Parabolic Mirror
At the heart of this telescope is a precisely crafted parabolic primary mirror. Unlike spherical mirrors often found in entry-level models, this mirror focuses light accurately to a single point. The result is crisp, well-defined stars across the entire wide field of view. The difference in clarity is immediately noticeable.
Smooth and Accurate Focusing
The modern Crayford focuser allows fine and wobble-free focusing. Its ball-bearing design ensures smooth operation, making adjustments easy and comfortable. This is especially helpful for lunar observation or photography. The focuser is compatible with all 1.25-inch eyepieces from various manufacturers.
Complete Accessory Package for an Easy Start
The included accessory set provides everything you need to begin observing right away. Two Plössl eyepieces cover low and medium magnifications. The 2x Barlow lens doubles the magnification by inserting it between the eyepiece and telescope.
An LED red dot finder with two brightness levels helps you quickly locate celestial objects. The extension tube ensures you can achieve the correct focus position when needed.
Turn Your Smartphone into an Astro Camera
The smartphone adapter allows you to attach your mobile phone directly to the eyepiece for photography. Capture detailed lunar landscapes or Jupiter and its moons with ease. The Bluetooth remote shutter release minimizes vibration for sharper images, making it easy to share your observations with friends and family.
