Omegon Telescope Pro Astrograph V2 154/600 OTA (87873)
The Omegon f/4 Astrograph is designed for impressive and efficient astrophotography. Thanks to its fast f/4 aperture ratio, it captures a large amount of light in a short time, allowing significantly reduced exposure times compared to conventional telescopes. This makes it ideal for photographing faint galaxies, hydrogen nebulae, and detailed deep-sky structures. The Astrograph sets a high standard for ambitious astrophotographers. While suitable for visual observation, this astrograph truly excels in astrophotography.

High-Performance f/4 Optics with 94% Reflectivity
While suitable for visual observation, this astrograph truly excels in astrophotography. Its fast f/4 aperture ratio makes it one of the quickest Newtonian systems available, enabling shorter exposures and improved imaging efficiency.
Both the secondary mirror and the parabolic BK7 primary mirror feature a 94% reflective coating, delivering noticeably brighter and higher-contrast images compared to standard mirrors with approximately 88% reflectivity. The enhanced aluminum and silicon dioxide coating ensures excellent light transmission and durability.
Optimized Illumination with a Large Secondary Mirror
The generously sized 63 mm secondary mirror ensures even illumination across a wide field of view. When attaching a DSLR or modern CCD camera, shadowing is minimized, resulting in well-illuminated images. The design also supports comfortable use with 2" wide-field eyepieces.
Compact Design for Easier Astrophotography
The short tube length and 600 mm focal length make this astrograph approximately 20% shorter than comparable f/5 systems. This compact design allows use on medium-sized mounts, reducing both cost and setup complexity.
The shorter focal length is ideal for imaging extended deep-sky objects and is more forgiving of minor tracking errors compared to longer focal length systems. This makes achieving high-quality astrophotographs easier, even with moderate experience.
Precision Focusing with Dual-Speed Focuser
The Omegon V2 2" Newtonian dual-speed focuser features linear bearings and a helical gear drive for precise adjustments. The 1:10 fine-focus reduction allows extremely accurate focusing, essential for sharp astrophotography results.
