This tripod combination is perfectly suited for use with the ZWO Seestar smart telescopes, including the Seestar S30 Pro. When paired with the included tilt head, it also enables equatorial (parallactic) operation of the telescope.

The TC20 tripod is already included as standard with the Seestar 50.

ZWO Smart Telescopes are equipped with a compact azimuth mount. However, they can also be operated in equatorial mode. For this setup, the telescope must be tilted so that the azimuth axis aligns parallel to the Earth's rotational axis. While this may sound complex, it is easily achieved using this tripod, tilt head, and the corresponding app.

The advantage of equatorial operation is the ability to use longer exposure times, allowing you to capture fainter celestial objects with greater detail.
