The Bresser EXOS-2 Mount:

The EXOS-2 Mount is a sturdy and reliable mount designed to handle substantial loads, with a visual capacity of up to 13 kg and a photographic capacity of up to 10 kg. It offers precise tracking for both visual observation and astrophotography.

Featuring double radial ball bearings, the EXOS-2 ensures precise functionality, while its optimized RA axes minimize play. This robust and precisely engineered mount provides an easy entry point into astrophotography. Additionally, it can be upgraded with motorized 2-axis control.

Equipped with Explore Scientific's PMC-8 GoTo controls, this system boasts advanced features:

• All motors are seamlessly connected to this unit, which includes an ST-4 compatible autoguider interface.
• Microstep operation ensures precise tracking, with PMC standing for Precision Motion Controller.

Operate the controls via Wi-Fi using a PC or tablet (compatible with Windows 8.1, Windows 10, iOS, Android, and mobile devices with screen sizes of 7.1” or higher). The ExploreStars app offers a user-friendly interface, displaying available stars for initial tracking and a vast database of celestial objects along with detailed information.

At the core of the controller lies a fully self-contained 2-channel processor with 8 CPUs and a Wi-Fi ethernet 10/100 adapter with IP functions. This enables operation via web browser, ASCOM, APP, or through a serial connection. The Open GoTo feature allows for custom firmware, enabling users to personalize device functions and create custom object lists.
