TS Optics Focuser Crayford 2" (1240)

2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 transmission designed for refractors.

This solid, ball-bearing focuser is ideal for amateur telescope making (ATM) projects or upgrading refractors equipped with basic focusers. Its standout feature is its remarkably smooth operation.

Load Capacity:

Capable of holding payloads up to approximately 2.5 kg, making it suitable for heavier cameras and accessories.

Adjustment:

• The knurled screw on the eyepiece side adjusts the drawtube's resistance, allowing it to accommodate heavier loads without slipping.
• The knurled screw on the telescope side secures the drawtube when tightened, particularly useful for astrophotography.

Micro Transmission:

Features a 1:10 micro transmission for ultra-fine adjustments. Rotating the micrometer screw by 10° moves the drawtube by only 0.038mm.

Telescope Side Adaptations:

Comes with an included adaptor with an inner diameter of 86mm, suitable for telescopes like Skywatcher 80mm and 90mm refractors, as well as Celestron 80mm refractors.
