The Astronomik CLS filter is an affordable and efficient tool for reducing light pollution in astrophotography and visual observation. It is designed for black-and-white photography, CCD imaging, and observing deep-sky objects such as nebulae, galaxies, and star clusters. This filter blocks the spectral lines of mercury and sodium-vapor lamps while allowing most visible light and H-alpha emissions to pass through, ensuring high contrast and clarity in your observations or images. Since 2008, the "Halo-Free" design has eliminated reflections and halos, enhancing its performance.
