Description
The Astronomik CLS-CCD filter is a highly effective tool for astrophotography under light-polluted skies, particularly for DSLR cameras that have been modified for astronomical purposes. This filter enhances the contrast between deep-sky objects and the background by blocking artificial light sources such as sodium- and mercury-vapor lamps, as well as airglow. Its wider transmission curve compared to UHC filters allows more light to pass through, ensuring stars are less dimmed and deep-sky objects appear clearer. It is suitable for DSLR, CCD, and black-and-white film photography, as well as observations with telescopes or lenses of f/3 aperture and above.
