Description
The Avalon X-Guider is a high-precision, play-free guidescope alignment accessory designed for astroimaging enthusiasts. With a load capacity of over 6 kg and a lightweight design of just 550 g, it offers exceptional portability and reduces the load on your mount. Its innovative design allows for one-handed adjustments using two ergonomic knobs, making it highly practical in challenging conditions. The X-Guider features a low-profile design that ensures a low center of gravity, minimizing the need for additional counterweights.
 
This system eliminates mechanical slack and flexure, essential for autoguiding accuracy. The elevation can be securely locked using two knobs, while azimuth adjustments are maintained by a strong spring mechanism, ensuring stability and precision. It includes a standard GP dovetail for attaching the guide telescope and a removable GP flange for quick and efficient parallel mounting on the main telescope.
 
The X-Guider boasts an elegant and compact design, with all aluminum parts CNC machined and finished with an anti-scratch anodized surface. The ergonomic screw knobs are made from a special polymer, ensuring ease of use during adjustments. This accessory is perfect for locating guide stars during deep-sky imaging sessions and is built to meet the demands of experienced astrophotographers.
