The Baader Vario Finder is a multifunctional optical instrument that goes beyond the typical role of a finder scope. While it is excellent for locating celestial objects, it can also serve as a guide scope, a spotting scope for nature observation, or a compact astronomical travel telescope. Designed for high-magnification use, its optical system is based on the renowned Carl ZEISS C lens, delivering outstanding performance. This small telescope can produce clear Airy discs even at magnifications of up to 120x, making it ideal for detailed observations.

Large Aperture and Compact Design
With a 61mm aperture, the Vario Finder offers superior light-gathering capability compared to traditional finders, resulting in brighter and sharper images. Its 250mm focal length ensures a compact and portable design, making it an excellent choice for travel. The optics are treated with the Phantom Coating® Group multi-coating, which enhances light transmission and reduces reflections for optimal clarity.

Versatility and Expandability
The Vario Finder is highly adaptable, offering multiple options for accessory integration. It features a standard 1.25-inch connection that accommodates most astronomy eyepieces. For terrestrial use, the 1.25-inch Amici prism provides upright and correct images, ensuring excellent nature observation. The included 25mm eyepiece with an illuminated reticule allows precise alignment during astronomical use. Additionally, the T-2 thread expands compatibility with various T-2 accessories.

For mounting flexibility, the package includes a dovetail adapter plate compatible with most commercial mounts. A ¼-inch thread is also provided, allowing the Vario Finder to be attached to standard camera tripods.
