Sky-Watcher GBKP150/F600 OTAW Quattro tube (SW-1012)

The Sky Watcher Quattro 150p is an affordable astrograph with a large aperture, ideal for users seeking a system for deep-sky astrophotography as well as visual astronomy. With its fast focal ratio of f/4, this high light-gathering power allows for a 36% reduction in exposure time compared to an f/5 telescope. Although designed for astrophotography, these Newtonians also provide bright and detailed images for visual astronomy.

Like all Sky-Watcher reflectors, the Quattro features borosilicate mirrors coated with Sky-Watcher's proprietary Radiant™ Aluminum Quartz (RAQ™) coatings, providing 94% reflectivity. The tube is made of rolled steel and finished with Sky-Watcher's glossy Black Diamond metallic coating. The OTA uses an oversized secondary mirror, ensuring better illumination for full-frame DSLRs and CCD cameras, and includes a coma corrector for sharp imaging across the entire field.

The focal length with the field reducer is 518 mm, resulting in a fast f/3.45 focal ratio.
