iOptron has refined its former "cube" mount design into the SkyHunter series, introducing a trend toward portable camera mounts that are lightweight, compact, easy to use, and equipped with advanced technology.

The SkyHunter mounts come in three versions and can be fully controlled via a smartphone or tablet running iOS or Android. They also support ASCOM and INDI protocols. With the built-in WiFi adapter, the mount can be operated using ASCOM, iOptron Commander, or Sky Safari software. Additionally, thanks to its 3/8-inch connection, the mount can be attached to any standard camera tripod.

Built-in optical encoders and four tracking modes ensure precise tracking for use in both the northern and southern hemispheres.
