These professional, fully-equipped polarising microscopes are designed for analysing minerals, crystals, and isotropic materials using light polarisation. They come with complete Köhler illumination as a standard feature across all models. The KERN OPO-1 transmitted illumination variant is equipped with a height-adjustable 0.9/0.13 swing-out ABBE condenser, which can be centred for precise Köhler illumination.

The microscopes feature a 360° revolving stage with 1° division, 6' fine division, and a locking function, ensuring precise sample positioning. All models include a complete polarising unit with scale, a Bertrand lens, a λ + 1/4 λ slip, and a quartz wedge.

A wide range of accessories is available, including mechanical stage attachments, additional objectives for long working distances, and filter units. The package includes a protective dust cover, eyecups, and multilingual user instructions. To connect a camera, a C-mount adapter is required and can be selected from the available model options.
