The AE2000 series represents Motic’s entry-level inverted microscopes, designed to deliver excellent image quality and robust performance for routine microbiology in clinical, pharmaceutical, and university laboratories. The AE2000 features a flexible optical system based on Motic’s CCIS® Infinity Optical System, ensuring precise color correction and sharp imaging. The microscope is equipped with LWD Plan Achromatic objectives and an advanced phase contrast concept, making it suitable for a variety of observation needs. Standard packages include 10X and 20X phase contrast objectives, with an optional 4X phase objective for fast screening and a 40X phase objective available for higher magnification. The stand features a quadruple nosepiece with precise click stops for easy objective changes. Illumination is provided by a powerful 30W halogen light source in a Fixed-Koehler setup, which can be easily switched to a 3W LED module if preferred. The built-in IR sensor enables an automatic ON/OFF function, turning off the microscope when not in use for added safety and energy efficiency. The AE2000 is manufactured in compliance with European RoHS standards and features anti-fungus treatment for durability in humid environments.
