This reducer is designed to decrease the effective focal length of your telescope, resulting in a wider field of view and faster imaging times, which is especially beneficial when photographing nebulae and galaxies. The 0.8x reducer shortens the focal length to 80% of its original value and is optimized for use with cameras up to APS-size (27mm diagonal).
