The Vixen SLV 9mm eyepiece is designed for maximum observing comfort, offering a generous 20mm eye relief even at short focal lengths. High-quality lanthanum glass is used to reduce chromatic aberration to a minimum, ensuring sharp and clear images. All air-to-glass surfaces are coated with advanced multi-layer hard coatings to minimize reflections and ghosting, while optimizing light transmission. The lens edges are blackened to further enhance contrast.

Screw-up eyecups make this eyepiece comfortable for spectacle wearers and help reduce stray light. The excellent imaging quality of the SLV series also makes these eyepieces ideal for astrophotography with digital cameras.
