The LT-1000 Navigation Reference Unit (NRU) represents a cutting-edge maritime heading sensor with an integrated GNSS/GPS receiver, developed by Lars Thrane A/S. Performance Features:

Compact yet highly advanced, the LT-1000 NRU integrates 12 precision sensors including magnetometers, gyros, accelerometers, barometer, thermometer, and GNSS/GPS receiver. Leveraging sensor fusion and Kalman filtering, it delivers real-time data such as true heading, roll, pitch, position, ground speed, course over ground, air pressure, and temperature with exceptional precision and resolution. Equipped with advanced technologies including Kalman filtering, magnetic variation calculation based on the World Magnetic Model (WMM), and compensation for soft and hard iron, it ensures accurate navigation data in diverse conditions. The LT-1000 NRU also supports multiple satellite systems (GPS, GPS & GLONASS, or GPS & BeiDou) and Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) such as EGNOS, WAAS, and MSAS.

Installation & Navigation Features:

Easy to mount on a 1” pole (with optional roof mount), the LT-1000 NRU features a single cable supporting NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, and power. Its built-in magnetometer calibration algorithm swiftly compensates for heading deviation, ensuring reliable navigation data output. An external PC installation and service software is available for optional configuration and maintenance.
