Bresser MESSIER Dobson 10" NT-254/1270

The Bresser MESSIER Dobson 10" NT-254/1270 offers a groundbreaking luxury in the field of astronomical observation at an affordable price point. Although economically friendly, it doesn't compromise on performance or quality, standing up to many of its higher-priced competitors. This telescope showcases 10-inch (254mm) optics, allowing you to view a broad spectrum of objects from our solar system to galaxies beyond. The larger diameter provides greater detail, permitting the identification of individual stars within clusters and unveiling intricate structures of previously subdued nebulae. This model also features a premium 6-inch (65mm) hexagonal focuser that efficiently combats vignetting, a common issue with other narrower lenses, ensuring amazing wide-angle views without distortion. Upgrade your stargazing experience with the Bresser MESSIER Dobson 10" NT-254/1270.

Description

The Messier 10 telescope mounted on the Dobson mount represents a remarkable breakthrough in the field. Despite its affordable price, this telescope offers exceptional applications and quality that can rival much more expensive models. With its 10-inch (254 mm) optics, this telescope provides the opportunity to observe objects within our Solar System and beyond. The larger diameter of the telescope enables the distinguishing of individual stars within clusters, while previously inconspicuous nebulae now reveal their intricate structures. The telescope features a high-quality, 6-inch (65 mm) hexagonal focuser that effectively eliminates vignetting, even when using wide-angle spectacles, which is a common issue with narrower designs.

The height axis of the telescope incorporates large wheels, ensuring precise movement even when employing highly magnifying wide field spectacles. If heavier accessories are attached, the clamps can be loosened to allow slight adjustments to the telescope tube for balance.

Based on the renowned 3rd generation Messier telescopes, this model utilizes a hexagonal profile extractor that can be rotated, collimated, and adjusted for travel force. It comes equipped with a single focusing system as a standard feature. Additionally, this version of the extractor can be expanded with 10:1 micrometers. The construction of the extractor accommodates larger and heavier accessories without causing any undesired displacement of the extraction sleeve. The high precision of the eyepiece ensures optimal sharpness can be achieved quickly and easily.

To facilitate compatibility with typical paralactic assemblies, the telescope's height axis wheels can be disassembled from the tube sleeve and fixed to a dovetail rail, allowing for swift adaptation.

The included accessories, such as the 6x30 finder and the 25mm eyepiece, make the telescope set ready for observation right out of the box. Furthermore, the dismountable assembly, featuring metal connections, enables convenient storage and transportation of the entire set.

Key Features:

  • Newtonian telescope with a primary mirror made of H-PZ33 glass, known for its low thermal expansion.
  • 2.5-inch hexafoc with a hexagonal profile and rack & pinion mechanism.
  • Large wheels in the height axis for smooth and precise movement, even at high magnifications.
  • Includes a 6x30 finder and a 25mm eyepiece.
  • Six-point system for optimizing the performance of the main mirror cell.
  • Tube clamps allow for mounting on other types of mounts.
  • Metal connectors used for assembly, ensuring quick setup.
  • Limited diffraction optics with Strehl's coefficient greater than 0.8.
