The Celestron NexStar 8SE is an exceptional telescope featuring a Schmidt-Cassegrain design with a generous 203mm (8") aperture, making it an excellent choice for both visual observations and astrophotography. Its planetary imaging capabilities are on par with apochromatic telescopes, thanks to the patented StarBright XLT coating, which collects 78% more light compared to the 6" version.
Equipped with the GoTo system, the NexStar 8SE offers a preloaded database of nearly 40,000 astronomical objects, allowing users to easily navigate and track celestial targets. The telescope comes with a sturdy steel field tripod, ensuring stability during observations.
This telescope package includes all the necessary accessories, allowing users to embark on their stargazing journey as soon as the weather permits. To fully maximize the telescope's potential, it is recommended to invest in 2-3 high-quality eyepieces.
