ZWO ASI 462 MM Early bird Version

ZWO ASI 462 MM (Early bird Version) is a professional monochrome astrophotography camera that expands on the ASI 290 MM model. With its high quantum efficiency and very low noise level, thanks to the Sony IMX462 sensor and 12-bit ADC converter, this camera generates breathtaking images with unprecedented sharpness and tonal dynamics.

By utilizing the Sony IMX462 sensor built with Sony Starvis™ technology, an unmatched sensitivity has been achieved, allowing for the capture of even the faintest signals from the farthest objects in the cosmos. This product is also free from the Amp Glow effect typically found in many CMOS sensors, which manifests as brightening of certain parts of the image during long exposures. Despite the absence of active cooling, the camera exhibits an extremely low read noise level ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 e.

The camera is enclosed in a compact, metal housing painted in the classic red color associated with ZWO products.

Note: The ZWO ASI 462 MM (Early bird Version) does not have a built-in memory buffer. A 256 MB buffer will be available in a later production series labeled as ZWO ASI 462 MM V2 (Official Version).
