The ZWO ASI 220 MM Mini is a compact monochrome camera designed for astrophotography enthusiasts seeking the highest level of precision. Building upon the success of its predecessor, the ASI 290 Mini, this model features a larger sensor size with a single pixel diameter and improved quantum efficiency in the near infrared spectrum.
At the heart of this camera lies the SC2210 sensor, employing CMOS technology and boasting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Despite the absence of active cooling, the ASI 220 MM Mini demonstrates an impressively low level of readout noise ranging from 0.6 to 3.2 e. The camera is equipped with both ST4 and USB-C (2.0) connectors, facilitating convenient connections to autoguiders or computers.
Encased in a compact metal housing, elegantly painted in ZWO's classic red color, the camera exudes durability and style. The package includes a dedicated adapter for connecting CS mount lenses, providing users with versatility in lens selection.
