Description
The Antlia ALP-T HS 5 nm 36 mm is an exceptional astrophotographic filter designed to enhance your imaging experience. This professional-grade filter allows the transmission of the Hα and OIII bands, delivering outstanding results. Whether you are using DSLR cameras, color cameras, or monochrome cameras, this filter caters to your needs. In the case of monochrome cameras, it even accelerates the signal acquisition process by exposing the sensor to two out of the three basic spectral lines simultaneously.
The Antlia ALP-T HS filter, part of the High Speed series, has been specifically adapted to work with high light intensity astrographs. It achieves this by slightly shifting the transmission band maxima towards longer wavelengths compared to standard ALT-P filters.
One of the standout features of this filter is its narrow half-width of only 5 nm for the transmission bands. This, coupled with the complete separation of the Hα and OIII bands, contributes to a remarkable improvement in the signal-to-noise ratio. The result is a noticeable enhancement in sharpness and contrast in your astrophotographs. Furthermore, the filter's high optical efficiency for the passbands and high optical density for the blocked range effectively combat light pollution, enabling you to capture stunning images even in urban areas.
Please note that the Antlia ALP-T 5 nm 36 mm filter is not suitable for visual observation and must never be used for observing the Sun.
