Description
Antlia ALP-T HS 5 nm 36 mm Dual Band Astrophotography Filter
The Antlia ALP-T HS 5 nm 36 mm Dual Band Filter is a top-tier astrophotographic filter engineered to elevate your imaging capabilities. Crafted for professional-grade performance, this filter expertly transmits Hα and OIII bands, ensuring exceptional results whether you're using DSLR cameras, color cameras, or monochrome cameras. Monochrome camera users will particularly benefit from accelerated signal acquisition, as the filter exposes the sensor to two of the primary spectral lines simultaneously.
This filter is part of the High Speed series, optimized for high light intensity astrographs. It accomplishes this by shifting the transmission band maxima towards longer wavelengths compared to standard ALT-P filters, making it ideal for use with f/2.2 - f/3.6 astrographs.
With a narrow half-width of only 5 nm for the transmission bands and complete separation of the Hα and OIII bands, this filter significantly enhances the signal-to-noise ratio. The result is sharper and more contrasted astrophotographs. Its high optical efficiency for passbands and strong optical density for blocked ranges effectively combat light pollution, allowing you to capture breathtaking images even in urban settings.
Important Note: The Antlia ALP-T 5 nm 36 mm filter is not intended for visual observation and must never be used to observe the Sun.
