The ZWO ASI 294 MM Pro camera is a highly regarded monochrome version of the popular ZWO ASI 294 MC Pro model. It has received consistently positive reviews for its exceptional performance.
The camera utilizes a back-illuminated optical sensor, resulting in unprecedented sensitivity that allows for capturing even the faintest signals from distant objects in space. The signal from the sensor is processed by a 14-bit ADC system, offering a wide dynamic range.
To maintain a low dark current during long exposures, the camera incorporates a two-stage cooling system based on Peltier cells. This cooling system ensures an incredibly low noise level of only 0.0022 e/s/pix.
