Celestron AstroFi 130 Telescope

The Celestron AstroFi 130 mm telescope is equipped with optical components that feature multilayer coatings, effectively eliminating color distortion. This results in an exceedingly detailed image with a high maximum magnification of 307 times, making it perfect for observing celestial objects like comets and solar system residents like the moon and the planets. Moreover, with an above-average light intensity (f/5), this telescope simplifies the process of capturing images of these observed objects, as it produces a brighter image, thus reducing the exposure time compared to other models. This combination of clarity, magnification, and light intensity ensures a superior stargazing experience.

Description

The AstroFi 130 mm telescope uses optical elements coated with multilayer coatings that eliminate color distortion. The detail of the image, together with the high maximum magnification of 307 times, makes the AstroFi 130 mm ideal for observing: comets, as well as solar system objects, for example, the Moon and planets. Above-average light intensity (f/5) makes it easier to take pictures of observed objects due to the bright image and the possibility of reducing exposure time compared to other designs.

A distinctive feature of the AstroFi line is wireless control. With the help of the free Celestron SkyPortal app, you can easily position the telescope in the expected position. All you have to do is hold your smartphone or tablet pointed at the night sky, then after finding an interesting object, you click on the screen and the telescope will automatically move to the expected position. In addition, information will appear on the screen of your device. Space exploration has never been so much fun!

Observation of the night sky brings the best results when it takes place far from sources of light pollution. To make it possible to use the telescope in such places, it creates its own wireless connection. The whole thing is placed on a sturdy aluminum tripod with an accessory tray.

Celestron SkyPortal is an advanced application that has information on more than 120,000 objects such as:

  • elements of the solar system,
  • star clusters,
  • nebulae,
  • galaxies,
  • asteroids and comets,
  • satellites including the International Space Station.

In addition, up to 4 hours of narration are available to users, during which they will learn about history, mythology and astronomy.
