Description

Thermal imaging cap by Pulsar designed for use with a rifle scope mounted on a weapon using the PSP adapter (not included). The adapter allows precise connection and alignment of the cap with the scope. The Proton FXQ30 is equipped with a fixed optical magnification of 1x, which allows observation of objects up to 900 meters away. The cap is recommended to be used with a spotting scope in the magnification range of 1.5-4x. The thermal imager can be used as a classic observation monocular after mounting the dedicated Pulsar monocular (not included).

The Proton FXQ30 thermal imager is equipped with a sensor with a resolution of 384 × 288 pixels, with a pixel spacing of 17 µm. The sensitivity of the sensor allows it to capture temperature differences of less than 40 mK. The display used is made with AMOLED technology with a resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. The high-contrast display provides better color reproduction, power saving, fast response and smooth images during observation even in freezing conditions. The use of Image Boost technology provides a sharper, more detailed and clearer image which translates into better object identification.

The thermal imaging dome has eight image display modes for easy recognition and identification of objects under observation:

- White Hot - for object detection,

- Black Hot - for object detection,

- Red Hot - for object detection,

- RedMonochrome - for long night observations,

- Rainbow - for recognition and identification,

- Ultramarine - for recognition and identification,

- Violet - for long night observations,

- Sepia - for long night observations.

The model also uses a function to save photos or videos to the built-in 16GB internal memory. Files can also be transferred directly to a phone or tablet using Wi-Fi, on which the StreamVision app has been installed. The integrated Wi-Fi module makes it possible to use, for example, a phone with the StreamVision app as an external display, to remotely control the device, and to carry out a live broadcast using YouTube.

The body of the thermal imager is made of magnesium alloy, which is resistant to mechanical damage and shock, while also providing better heat dissipation. The material used makes the Pulsar Proton FXQ30 cap suitable for use with weapons with a recoil of up to 6000 J (e.g. .375 H&H, 9.3 x 64). Thanks to its compact design and the use of gaskets, the thermal imager's housing meets the IPX7 waterproof rating, which provides protection from water at a depth of up to 1m for 30 minutes. The operating temperature range in which the thermal imager can be used is from -25 to +50 degrees Celsius.

The thermal imager is powered by a replaceable APS5 lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 4900 mAh, which makes the thermal imager capable of operating for up to 6 hours. The built-in USB Type-C port also ensures that the device can be used with a plugged-in powerbank to extend the operating time. The Display OFF power saving mode allows the display to go blank without turning off.

The kit includes:

- thermal imager,

- USB charger 230 V,

- eyepiece cover,

- lens cover,

- carrying case,

- 1 x APS5 4900 mAh battery,

- USB-C cable with adapter,

- cloth,

- user manual in Polish.
