What is a stage disk?
The Astrial company's scenic disk consists of two disks - the primary disk presenting the main image and the background disk establishing the primary environment, which may include trees, mountains, telescopes, etc. When the rotation function of the Homestar planetarium is activated, the main disk rotates while the background disk remains fixed. This simulates the experience of reclining on a beach among palm trees, observing the sky as stars move across it while the palm trees remain unmoved.
