Description

The AC 102/1000 refracting telescope boasts a long focal length, making it perfect for lunar and planetary observations. Its 102-millimeter obstruction-free aperture ensures excellent resolution without diffraction from a secondary mirror, common in Newtonian telescopes.

With its relatively large aperture, this telescope also enables viewing of bright nebulae and galaxies. Follow in the footsteps of Charles Messier (1730-1817) and explore all the objects in his renowned catalogue of nebular objects. Notably, its generous focal ratio results in very low color aberration.

Key Advantages:

  • Low color aberration
  • Sturdy drawtube
  • Ideal for lunar and planetary observations
  • Upright image: The diagonal mirror provides a comfortable view and corrects the inverted image, making navigation of celestial objects easier.

The EQ-3 mount facilitates precise alignment with Polaris, allowing adjustments for pole height or geographical latitude at each observation site. Fine movements along the right ascension and declination axes enable precise tracking and object retention within the visual field. A counterweight ensures optimal balance.

The EQ-3 mount provides a stable base for most smaller and medium-sized scopes, suitable for exploring the night sky. The extendable tripod features a shelf for storing eyepieces and accessories.

Includes:

  • Telescope
  • EQ3 mount with counterweight
  • Flexible shafts for fine-tuning
  • Tripod with accessory shelf
  • 2 eyepieces
  • LED red dot finder
  • 90° upright prism
  • Barlow lens x3
  • Smartphone holder
