Celestron N 200/1000 advanced VX AS-VX 8" GoTo telescope

Introducing the N 200/1000 telescope - with its 200mm aperture, this telescope unveils a wealth of celestial detail for deep sky observation. Offering 78% more light gathering power than a 150mm telescope, it reveals intricate features of galaxies and nebulae, including delicate spiral arms and intricate structures. Even globular clusters like the renowned M13 in Hercules are crisply resolved to the edges.

The diffraction-limited main parabolic mirror ensures sharp, high-contrast images, optimized by a small secondary mirror and thin vanes. This design facilitates equally sharp and bright planetary observation at higher magnifications.

Equipped with a robust focuser compatible with two-inch eyepieces (adapter included for 1.25" eyepieces), two eyepieces are provided for immediate observing.

With an aperture ratio of f/5, this telescope is part of the 'fast Newtonian' class, ideal for astrophotography. Its eight-millimeter finder aids in navigating the night sky, revealing unseen objects to the naked eye.
