Description

With StarSense Explorer, your smartphone becomes your cosmic navigator, analyzing the night sky in real time to pinpoint celestial wonders. Designed for beginners, this innovative telescope features a user-friendly app interface and detailed tutorials, offering you a personalized tour guide to the stars.

Say goodbye to complex star charts and imprecise planetarium apps. StarSense Explorer makes locating objects effortless, fast, and accurate. Setup is a breeze – simply place your smartphone in the unique StarSense dock, launch the app, and follow the step-by-step alignment process. Within minutes, you'll be navigating the sky with confidence. Select a celestial object from the app's list, and on-screen arrows guide you as you move the telescope. When you're ready to view, the bullseye turns green, indicating you're on target.

Using patent-pending technology and your smartphone, StarSense Explorer precisely determines the telescope's position in the night sky. Its Lost in Space Algorithm (LISA) matches star patterns overhead to its internal database, similar to satellite reorientation algorithms.

Even in light-polluted city settings, StarSense Explorer can identify Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, the Orion Nebula, double stars, and other famous celestial objects.

The Optics of the AC 70/700:

Featuring a 70mm aperture, this refractor telescope gathers 100 times more light than the naked eye and more than typical beginner telescopes with smaller apertures. With a maximum magnification of 140X, it reveals detailed surface features of planets like Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. Observing the Moon unveils its cratered landscape, ever-changing with lunar phases. Ideal for daylight nature observation using an erecting lens or Amici prism. The rack and pinion focus wheel ensure precise image sharpness adjustment and stability during observation.

These optics also excel as a guide scope for astrophotography or larger telescopes.

The azimuthal mount allows intuitive telescope movement and alignment with celestial objects.

Included Accessories: 1.25" eyepieces (25mm, 10mm), Barlow Lens (2x), Red dot finder, Dew Shield, 1.25" 90° star diagonal
