Description

Meade's Infinity series telescopes offer an affordable gateway into astronomy for enthusiasts at any level.

With these telescopes, you can delve into the wonders of the cosmos, from exploring the intricate details of the Moon's craters and mountains to marveling at Saturn's majestic rings and witnessing Jupiter's four largest moons, just as Galileo Galilei once did. Additionally, you can observe dazzling celestial phenomena like the Orion Nebula, situated 1,350 light-years away, and countless double stars such as the striking Albireo in Cygnus.

The alt-azimuth mount provides intuitive operation and swift readiness for observation sessions. Plus, the lightweight tripod enhances portability, allowing you to take your telescope on-the-go effortlessly.

Included in the package are all the essentials you need, including eyepieces for various magnifications. The standard 1.25" focuser accommodates a wide range of accessories, adding versatility to your stargazing experience.

Here's a closer look at the AC 70/700 optics:

With a 70mm aperture, this refractor gathers 100 times more light than the naked eye and significantly more than beginner telescopes with slightly smaller apertures. This translates to higher resolution and a maximum magnification of 140X, enabling you to discern prominent surface features when observing planets like Saturn, Jupiter, and Mars. The lunar landscape also comes alive, revealing intricate details that vary with the moon's phases. During daylight, you can even use it for nature observation with the aid of an erecting lens or Amici prism. Focusing is precise and effortless with the rack and pinion focus wheel, ensuring sharp images throughout your observation session.

Moreover, the optics serve well as a guide scope for astrophotography or guiding alongside a larger telescope.

The AZ-1 Mount:

This mount is particularly favored by astronomy beginners for its user-friendly design. It allows easy movement in both azimuth and elevation, eliminating the need for complex alignment procedures. Setting up the telescope is a breeze—simply assemble the tripod and mount, attach the telescope, and you're ready to explore the universe!
