The VX series of telescopes brings the exceptional advantages of the high-end CT series within a more budget-friendly range. These VX instruments maintain the superior optics of the CT series and are accompanied by a Zygo interferometer report.

Equipped with a straight 50mm finder and a quality 2" focuser (including a 1.25" adapter), all VX models feature an aluminum tube for easy mounting due to its lightweight construction. The precision, fan-cooled, 9-point suspension mirror cell ensures optimal support and cooling for the main mirror, preserving its accuracy during prolonged use by effectively distributing weight with nylon support points.

A VX telescope delivers outstanding image quality, making it an excellent choice for serious beginners.

Optics N 200 (8"): The brightness and detail of celestial objects in a telescope are directly influenced by the size and aperture of the main mirror. With an aperture of 200mm, the 8"-telescopes offer over 40% brighter images than their 6" (150mm) counterparts. Additionally, the larger mirrors provide 33% more detailed images, enabling higher magnifications for enhanced viewing experiences.

Standard or Long? Telescopes in this series are designed with a short focal length, ideal for capturing spectacular images of Deep Sky objects with the addition of a camera adapter and camera. Alternatively, the L-Version offers a longer focal length, facilitating stunning visual images at higher magnifications, particularly suitable for planetary and lunar photography.

Mirror Cells: Proper support of the main mirror is crucial for maintaining optical precision. The telescopes feature a computer-optimized, anodized aluminum surface cell with a built-in cooling fan (12V DC). This system includes a 9-point, nylon66-tipped suspension system to evenly distribute the mirror's load, ensuring accuracy.

Focuser ACU-2S: The telescopes are equipped with a high-quality 2” (50.8mm) Crayford focuser, known for its ultra-smooth mechanism. The focuser offers both normal focusing speed and lower-geared 10:1 ratio micro-adjustment for precise focusing with various eyepieces or cameras. Its stability ensures sharp, flawless images, making it suitable for a range of cameras, including DSLR and medium format CCD chips.
