Another notable feature is its ultra-quiet, low-power consumption stepper motor drive systems. Both models of the CEM40 are precise trackers, with the CEM40-EC version delivering <0.25 arcsecond accuracy thanks to its high-resolution encoder and real-time periodic error correction (RPEC).

The CEM40 is an extremely versatile and advanced mount.

Available in two versions, with or without encoders, both precisely track your optics in the night sky. The variant with high-resolution encoders (EC) on both axes achieves an accuracy of less than 0.25 angular seconds and corrects periodic screw errors in real time, eliminating the need for guiding in astrophotography.

This mount comes with iOptron's newly developed LiteRoc tripod.

The iOptron LiteRoc tripod is meticulously designed to be as lightweight as possible while remaining sturdy. It's a perfect fit for mobile observers and astrophotographers. Featuring sturdier sockets for its extending tripod legs and larger locking levers compared to its predecessor, the LiteRoc tripod ensures stability. With upper tripod legs measuring 45mm (1.75”) in diameter and lower sections at 38mm (1.5”), the extending legs are just as robust as those on the earlier 2” tripod. The narrower design of the upper part makes the LiteRoc tripod lighter.
