The Meade Giant Field Tripod provides a robust foundation for larger Meade telescopes, ideal for demanding applications like high-power observing, astrophotography, or CCD imaging.
Its adjustable height allows for comfortable standing or seated observations through the telescope. Featuring super strong and exceptionally rigid large diameter chromed steel legs, it offers excellent vibration damping. The telescope can be mounted in altitude-azimuth (vertical-horizontal) mode or equatorially (polar) aligned with the optionally available Meade Ultrawedge.
The Meade Giant Field Tripod is included with the Meade 12" and 14" LX200-ACF telescopes.
