These eyepieces boast a 68° field of view, which is the widest angle that allows full visibility of the view field despite minor involuntary head movements by the observer. They feature eight lens elements in five groups, ensuring impeccable sharpness across the entire field and outstanding color fidelity to the edges.

A unique aspect of these eyepieces is their dual focal length capability. When fitted with the 2" barrel, they serve as wide-field, low magnification eyepieces; adding the 1.25" negative achromat group enhances their magnification.

They are engineered to produce minimal distortion and low astigmatism, using high refractive index glass elements. Additionally, they have the shortest field stop among known wide-field eyepieces and are optimized for binocular viewing. These eyepieces are also designed to be comfortable, eliminating the common 'kidney-bean effect' and ensuring the image remains stable even with head movements.

Another notable feature is their adaptability for photography. By removing the eyecup and adding an M43-T2 adapter, they can connect to nearly any SLR or digital camera, as well as video cameras and webcams. The focal length can be adjusted by inserting spacers, and the eyecups can fold down, providing adequate eye relief for those who wear glasses.
