Baader Filters OIII CMOS f/2 Highspeed 36mm

OIII filters exclusively permit light with a wavelength of 501 nanometers to pass through. This wavelength corresponds to the spectrum lines of doubly ionized oxygen emitted by planetary nebulae and certain emission nebulae. By selectively allowing this specific light to pass, these filters enhance contrast and reveal faint nebulae while blocking out other wavelengths.

Astrophotography: These filters are most effective when used with monochrome cameras. For optimal results, images captured using OIII filters should be combined with those taken using H-alpha and SII filters. This combination produces images that vividly depict faint nebulae with heightened contrast.
